@grey313 great photos. The project turned out really well. Chard did a good job incorporating Nest, Haven and the Medical Buildings into one community. I asked about who would be leasing the commercial but that hasn't been disclosed yet to the public.

For Nest I've heard that move-ins start at the end of September and there will be an optometrist and a pizza place on the first level. Not sure what else. But yeah it turned out really nice, and I like the matching color scheme. Not too flashy but it looks nice and clean.

Thank you, my wife just pointed out that the whole unit is smaller than our dining room. A friend of mine who is a senior banker is strongly suggesting that condos are a particular bad investment at the moment.

Does your wife point that out on every condo thread you read? I swear I keep reading this same comment over and over, and I'm not sure I understand the point of it. Not everyone has had the luxury of being born early enough to buy a house that's now worth over a million with a 1,000 sqft dining room. The average person probably couldn't care less about whether the condo they just bought is a "good investment", they're just thankful to have bought a home with what is probably a larger down payment than what you bought your whole house for. That's the reality most of us are living in.

Not sure who you are reading but I have been off this site for a long time. My point is that condos seem to be getting smaller over the last decade, If your point is that we have managed housing badly over the last few decades and that young people are badly done by, then I absolutely agree.
Over the years I have bought real estate as an investment, most presale condos are bought by investors so it is rather relevant as to how good an investment they are. .
I also agree that your reality absolutely sucks. On the other hand our kids who are in the US are doing just fine.
