Anything notable, MA?
Sorry for the late reply, not a very long presentation, I normally check out during the dry finance part, but the CEO did spend a lot of time answering questions, even touching on the York Development. Not a lot of new-news, just holding the line.
Should see movement on the taxi way project that is over a year old complete and unused by the start of the summer according to Geoff Dickson.

Amid an absolutely disastrous year, as airlines lost billions of dollars and laid off thousands of employees, imagine telling someone you're planning on launching a new airline.
"People go, "Whoa. What are you doing? Are you nuts?'" said Ravinder Minhas, a founding board member of upstart Canada Jetlines.
And yet, Minhas believes there's never been a better time to launch an airline in Canada.
"Where it looks like things are down, that's the best time to get in," he said.
Things are definitely down.

More than 500 WestJet employees in Vancouver and Calgary have unionized with Unifor, saying a change in workplace culture after the airline’s sale was a big part of the workplace organization efforts.
The 531 WestJet workers — which include airport agents such as customer service workers — join more than 7,000 other unionized airline workers with Unifor under carriers like Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz.
“You went from the perception of ‘we’re teammates, it’s a family culture,’ to being owned by Onex, which is a huge, huge company,” said Unifor president Jerry Dias, referencing WestJet’s owner, Onex Corp., which acquired the airline nearly two years ago.

US domestic air travel is nearing 80% of May 2019 levels.
For most Americans I know, covid is over as far as their day to day goes. No hesitation at all to travel domestically or internationally as permitted. Most people who want to be vaccinated have already had their second dose.

United Airlines announced a deal to buy 15 supersonic jets, planning to carry passengers on the ultra-fast planes by 2029
If the airline can follow through with its plan, these would be the first commercial supersonic flights since the grounding of the Concorde jet in 2003. The economics of that fuel-guzzling supersonic jet and restrictions on flying it over land at speeds that would produce a sonic boom doomed the Concorde. Airlines had to try to fill the plane with passengers willing to pay a substantial premium over a first-class ticket on traditional aircraft.
United is buying the supersonic jet from Boom Supersonic, a privately held upstart aircraft maker based in Denver. The plane, dubbed the "Overture," is slated to be completed by 2025, start test flights by 2026 and carry passengers by 2029. United has agreed to buy 15 of the jets, with options for 35 more.

Looks like AC has dropped their planned direct Ottawa - Victoria flights. Still showing on their PDF timetable but not bookable on their website or via Google Flights. Were supposed to operated YOW-YYJ on Fridays and Saturdays and YYJ-YOW Saturday and Sunday mornings. Too bad - would have been convenient for me.
WestJet is still showing their 1x weekly flights to Ottawa on Saturdays.

Travel rebound: 2 million people go through US airports
The 2.03 million figure was 1.5 million more travelers than the same day last year
Airline bookings have been picking up since around February, as more Americans were vaccinated against COVID-19 and – at least within the United States – travel restrictions such as mandatory quarantines began to ease.
The recovery is not complete. Friday's crowds were only 74% of the volume compared to the same day in 2019. However, the 2.03 million figure was 1.5 million more travelers than the same day last year, according to the TSA.
The 2-million mark represents quite a turnaround for the travel industry, which was hammered by the pandemic. There were days in April 2020 when fewer than 100,000 people boarded planes in the U.S., and the CEO of Boeing predicted that at least one major U.S. airline would go bankrupt.
