Hearing lots of stories of financiers pulling rate quotes for projects that are already in the final approval stages. Seems like everyone is getting really antsy on potential interest rate hikes along with questions over property valuations given a softening in the market.

Confirmed, sold to a well known local developer.
Supposedly GAIN has sold their Volvo dealership lot to a developer per comments on social media. The lot is at Cook and Yates across from the former Harris Chrysler.
Can anyone confirm the rumour and confirm who acquired the site ?

Also, it appears that soil sampling is underway at one of the surface parking lots on Caledonia across the street from Police HQ. The Glad Tidings Church owns multiple surface lots on Caledonia and had previously hinted that they wanted to build residential rental towers on these properties. Perhaps they are instead planning to sell the lots to a developer and the buyer is doing due diligence?

Meanwhile, GT is in the process of expanding an entrance to the Caledonia side of their buildings.

Milliken Developments and Amica Senior Lifestyles, the team behind the "Amica Oak Bay" underway at 1900 Richmond, are proposing a 6-storey, 88-unit assisted living facility to be built adjacent to 1900 Richmond on Ashgrove Street. This would require the removal/replacement of 4 houses on Ashgrove Street, and the new building would be connected to 1900 Richmond.

Here's an aerial pic. One of the four properties on Ashgrove to be redeveloped looks quite new.
