So does that mean we are not permitted to discuss the matter further?

Good find! That answers the question as to what the future holds for this building.

This 30,203 square foot three storey building was recently purchased by Chard Development and is currently undergoing an extensive renovation program.

I think they're gluing a giant sugar wafer to it.

They should really do what Jawl did with the old BC Ferries building and install larger windows.

^That's the old Carnaby Street clothing store. Has there been a previous example of three storeys bulit over an old two-storey?

I had no idea this was doubling in height until the plans came across my desk.  I thought it was odd they were putting an elevator in a 2 story building but then I saw the few residential units.  The upper floors are so set back though that I don't think you'll be able to see them from anywhere other than up on the parkade.

I'm not really sure what's going on with the windows on the addition but I think there are only two additional floors

A building in fan tan alley has been gutted. Anyone know what's happening there? (other than a building has been gutted)
