It would appear that the OBBH is going to be purchased by REV Investment INC which is one of the prime lenders on the project.

Oak Bay Beach Hotel sale a done deal

Cfax1070:   The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is being sold, for a price that will satisfy approximately half of the claims of various creditors, that total more than 120 million dollars.

The hotel has been in receivership since December 2014.

B-C Supreme Court has approved the sale agreement announced March 30, finding it to be "commercially reasonable".

It is expected the new owners will continue to operate the property as a resort hotel.

Are the Walkers looking at any possible fraud charges from things like not producing titles to units or using the business to pay their personal credit card bills?

Just 4 years ago this thing was just nearing construction completion.

I took a little staycation at the OBBH for a couple nights this week - my first time staying. Very nice pool, great service, very quiet and relaxing atmosphere down at the pool area (no kids allowed). Wife liked the spa. Although the sauna was small.

The restaurants were pretty good- a favorite item was the Snug’s Brie & bread topped with fig jam - delicious way to do Brie.

The oceanview room was good enough, had a very nice view, but you’re really only staying there for the oceanfront pool imo. All in all, not a bad spot for an in-town getaway… if you want a quiet place with nothing to do except sit around the mineral pool & hot tubs.
