he just announced he is running for mayor. 70 people here including Simon Whitfield. Http://www.runwithrob.ca they are running as a group to cityhall
Good grief. Watch him drop out again tomorrow.
If Rob thinks that Stan Sipos was the big obstacle to overcome for Mayor then he has his math wrong.

I'm imagining he withdrew from the race for council in order to put his ducks in a row to run for Mayor. His website shows a fair amount of forethought went into it, so obviously this isn't an overnight decision.
I am sure that he dropped out of the running for council when the likes of Rob Randall spoke up and he figured he couldn't win.
Makes Rob Reid look very opportunistic.
