Coffee cream makes sense but I haven’t had a glass of milk since I was in my early teens. To each his own, though.

I would imagine most milk is used for cereal. HUGE cereal isle in every grocery store.
But dairy doesn't refer to just milk - it refers to cheese, cream, yogurt, ice cream etc.

If you want a treat, get yourself a bottle of Happy Planet milk. Oh mama! There is another grass fed option now, but I didn’t see the brand. Blows Avalon out of the water.
Matt.
Oh - I've just fallen in love with Avalon whipping cream. Where is Happy Planet from and where is it available?

I think they only do whole milk (and chocolate) so no whipping cream, as far as I know. Avalon makes great stuff too!

We’d like to let our valued customers know that with heavy hearts, Island Bakery will be lighting our ovens for the last time on January 31, 2020. The store will remain open until February 10, 2020 to sell our day old bread.
In 1982 Larry and Audrey Roscoe started with a dream to provide fresh bread at a competitive price. Over the years, we’ve been honoured to sponsor countless others, from local charities, sports teams, school functions, food banks and many many more.
Audrey, Jeff and Robbie have lost many nights sleep coming to this decision. We work on a volume based business model and over the years we’ve seen a drastic decline in volume because of market trends, large national brands giving kickbacks and rebates to be exclusive, our little bakery has no choice but to close our doors.
We’d like to thank each and every one of our loyal customers for your nearly 40 years of support.
Thank you for bringing us into your homes for the past 38 years,
The Roscoe family

What a bummer. It'll be sad to see their products disappear.

won’t the bread be 10 days old?
sad to see them go but they failed to follow market trends. don’t blame it on “kickbacks”. They needed to get out of the high volume low profit lines and they didn’t.
“big bread” is a real juggernaut. certainly hard to compete with. plus those bimbos are mexican if you catch my drift.
I’ve also heard they really really really struggled to find labour for the production floor.

What the heck. I had no idea.
First Brazil buys Tim Hortons, now Mexico buys Canada Bread?
