Has anyone seen a store with Bubly in stock? My wife is hooked on it and everyone is sold out lately. Finally found a couple of cases at London Drugs yesterday but that won't last long. (And yes, she's tried all the others and doesn't like them, although they all taste the same to me.)
If you have a soda stream, you can get the flavour drops (Bubly brand) and make your own! I've seen the drops at most grocery stores and mass retailers.

My wife and I were picking up her car at a dealership, they had a fridge there that customers could help themselves to.
We both chose a Bubly. We got in our respective vehicles for the drive home. I opened up my can of Bubly on the drive, it was horrible.
I have never tasted something so bad.
About 10 minutes later I get a call from my wife and she asked if I had tried the Bubly, I said yes, she said it was the most vile drink she had ever had.
We poured them out when we got home.

I wouldn't say I ever found them to be bad, but the first time I had one I wasn't overly impressed. I'm not a huge pop drinker, maybe a can or two a week, tops, but I had become accustomed to the flavor and sweetness of the usual assortment of soft drinks. After a few though the Bublys have grown on me.

The hard Hires Root Beer is actually good. It’s somehow different than mixing vodka and root beer - which tastes disgusting
So because of this conversation, I actually noticed that at the liquor store today. Still not going to buy it.
And kids, the nasty hangover is due to the sugar in the rootbeer combined with alcohol. I learned this the hard way in university which was many decades ago than I will admit.

Bottles are fairly ease to find, it's just a lot cheaper to buy 12 packs.

I also noticed The Pop Shoppe still exists. Hello 70s in Ont? What a sugar causing hangover. Do stand alone Pop Shoppes still exist?

Going to the local Pop Shoppe as a kid was always a delight. Of course back then, I actually loved cream soda, so I might have a different opinion of PS today.

I’ve never tasted it but noticed it and remembered someone was looking for some.
It’s towards the front of the store, on the right hand side, close to the deli.
