No details other than that pre-production kicks off in the new year; I'm sure there are no lack of creative plot lines available that could explain Neo's "resurrection". No word on Lawrence Fishburne but I'd be disappointed if he isn't also back. Ditto Hugo Weaving who was supposedly destroyed in "Revolutions"; the fun thing about a virtual world I suppose is that any character can theoretically re-appear for any one of a number of reasons.

I'd be ok without Weaving. They can do some sort of go after the Architect thing inside the Matrix. No idea how they deal with the machines though. Now that Smith is dead there isn't any incentive for the machines to leave Zion alone though.

Really do need Fishbourne. JPS would be nice to have back too.

could not care less if i never see another spider man film.  stopped going to them in 1993 anyway after the 14th one.

the fact it's the most talked about thing on the internet in the last 24 hours means we have it pretty good here in north america.  if that's the biggest news.

Now imagine living in the Full House house, or the Goonies home. I’ve been to both, but the Goonies folks are not very keen on having anyone linger around their property. It seems strange to buy a home knowing it’s a huge piece of Americana and not making money from it in some way, while being unhappy that visitors want to check it out. I’d pay $20 to walk the property. Why not?

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez even commented on the fiasco, explaining that, when she was younger, she was warned to stay away from the stairs, but that they’re also a part of everyday citizens’ lives and not a movie set.

Speaking to TMZ, she said, “Keep your Instagram posts outside of the Boogie Down. This is for us.”

a nickname for the bronx is "boogie down".

named so due to this song apparently:

Man Parish - Boogie Down Bronx

i'm personally a bigger fan of this man parrish song:

Man 2 Man Meet Man Parrish - Male Stripper (1987)

Parrish left home at the age of 14 and was a member of the extended family that converged nightly at Studio 54. His nickname, Man, first appeared in Andy Warhol's Interview magazine. Andy Warhol gave him the name “Man”. His early live shows at Bronx hip-hop clubs were spectacles of lights, glitter, and pyrotechnics, which drew as much from the Warhol mystique as the Cold Crush Brothers.

https://en.wikipedia...iki/Man_Parrish

quite a career:

He's mixed, produced and worked with various artist like Boy George (Spirit In The Sky), Michael Jackson (Speed Demon Remix), Gloria Gaynor (I Am What I Am), The original Village People (various tracks), Klaus Nomi (various tracks), Steve Strange and Visage (She's Electric), Steve Bronski and Bronski Beat (various tracks), and several other high-profile music industry artists.

He eventually signed with Elektra Records via David Bowie’s Manager Tony DeFries who also managed his music career, but was dropped from the label in 1984 when they decided not to release the album he had recorded for them. Elektra signed him for dance music, his manager wanted him to create pop-rock.

For six years, from 1994 to 2000 he was road manager for the famed disco band Village People. He traveled the world with them, produced music for their live show and managed their day to day business on the road.

In 2010s, Parrish was in negotiations with Pink Biscuit Records and was scheduled to release a record via Southern Fried Records, the label owned by Fatboy Slim. Parrish started his own label instead.

From 2000 to 2015 he created the longest running underground New York City club party, at the infamous gay CockBar. His Sunday night parties were notorious for wild performances, lights, lasers and live artist as a throwback to his early club years. Many celebrities attended. The party was called Sperm at the CockBar.

And it's a good final season (at least so far!). Halfway through, it's a very different show from the first two seasons.

Knives Out - enjoyed it quite a lot.  Somewhat different in that it centered more on the story arc of the prime suspect over the principal investigator.

That's good to hear. I like the cast and the reviews are good, but I didn't want to go anywhere near a Rian Johnson film. Maybe I will check it out.

Same same, my interest plunged as soon as I learned Rian wrote and directed. I'll wait 'til it hits Netflix.

nothing about the trailer or the pretty prominent marketing got to me.  but those rotten tomato reviews have convinced me.
