How are wired networks dangerous?

causing general entanglement with/or powerlines. workers, etc

If a tree falls on the line can cause a chain reaction with other lines, etc

I’m assuming the signals are cancer free?

I think the issue might not so much be the location as the ability to understand the person on the other end of the line, which is the problem I’ve had with Telus. The cornerstone to every relationship is communication.

I believe his issue with the call centre staff is that they wouldn't offer $2.50/month internet.

Just received notice that my Amazon Prime service is going up 25% effective today. Netflix went up about the same amount a couple of months back. The only thing not going up is my income.

20%.

Get a job!

Also it’s only going up $2. First rise since 2013.

Hey, at least he has a pension.  I'll be working 'till I'm dead.  By that time I'm sure Netflix and Prime will be $150/mo.

Might be worth it if their delivery times improve.

Anyone else notice that items on Amazon are creeping up in price? Lots of things we order at least monthly for work and home, and I’m seeing the prices on Amazon starting to hit the price of local stores.

“Far above local” for you is my normal local I think.

Amazon Prime is a smoking deal. You get far more for your money than any of the other services. I'll keep paying the annual at the new $99 rate and be grateful.

I agree that Amazon Prime is a better deal than Netflix, it's just a lousy time to have yet another service increase its rate.

Canada's commissioner of competition intends to oppose Rogers Communications Inc.'s proposed $26-billion merger with Shaw Communications Inc., the companies said in a statement released early Saturday.

The telecom giants said they were notified of the commissioner's plan to file an application to the Competition Tribunal aimed at preventing the deal, following the close of trading on Friday.

Starlink for RVs is now available.

https://www.starlink.com/rv

WORK AND PLAY AT REMOTE LOCATIONS

Starlink for RVs is ideal for customers travelling to locations where connectivity has been unreliable or completely unavailable.

Users can expect high speed, low latency internet in areas marked "Available", and notably slower speeds during hours of peak usage in areas marked as "Waitlist" or during events with many collocated users.

Starlink for RVs is not designed for use while in motion.

PAY AS YOU GO

Starlink for RVs provides the ability to pause and un-pause service at any time and is billed in one-month increments, allowing users to customize their service to their individual travel needs.
