Cheap, good and CLEAN. I like how nothing comes pre-cooked out of a box. Chicken balls battered from raw, etc.
Cheeseburger w/ fries and gravy is cheap and cheerful too!! Glad they're getting some love because they clearly work very hard.

Yes in that strip mall in Tillicum by the Bingo Place. They never advertise and are quite happy with the word of mouth bringing in customers. Last night it was fairly steady with takeout and eat in customers. We will definately be putting it in the eat out rotation! Does anyone know if the old guy that used to run the place is still in the picture or have his kids taken over?
I sound like an Ad but I just don't want us to lose this Gem of a restaurant
Also don't forget Breakfast all day for 3.99 !
They are only closed on Sundays and the rest of the week they open up early for breakfast & close at 7pm.

Three of us finally found this place and tried it out. Will definitely be returning.
Little awkward getting in off Burnside tho. We wound up in the bingo halls parking lot.

1550 is hardly a greasy spoon ..well at least for me ..they are ..umm more upscale then I go to ..but the service is good ,and the food is hot when we get it..sometimes I think they are trying somone new in the back the quality varies at times ..

another vote for red kettle. when we went we must have been the only people there who the lady didn't know by name. & I walked past the side entrance thinking it was the kitchen door, but it seems it's not. everyone used it.

after you have been there 4 or 5 times .. she will know what you like and ask same same ? always good there ...the marble arch has better chow main...imho..
