Who you asking? Do they pay tax on their pot sales?!

I think if you asked the FN they would tell you that they do not have to abide by any rules that the colonialists have set. In reality they would likely play nice in some areas that that the Government would fund their ventures.

What are the largest retail footprint available for lease at the moment, in the CRD?

Know it all.
Citified.ca is Victoria's most comprehensive research resource for new-build homes and commercial spaces.

Not a surprise. Very few of these small bistro type, chef owned restaurants are going to survive in Victoria. Costs are too high and demographic won't support the prices necessary to be viable.

Neither Brass nor Agrius are chef owned, Zambri's is at least partially.

Yah not typically our busy night so that was good to see! Elizabeth May was at the Hall, lots of spin-off from that.

People will still eat out, they will just move downstream. Instead of eating out at Agrius or Zambris they will go to Big Wheel or the pub. They will have 1 drink instead of 2 and they will skip desert and/or the appy.

I noticed that in this year's dine around almost all of the 'deals' are $45/$55. Interesting to see how that works out.

I don’t think I’ve ever had dessert at a restaurant.

Except at Coffee Macs back in the day, they has a special that included a slice of pie.

Oh man! If I could think of a better dessert place than mine, I’d suggest one!

We have had a few splashy meals the last couple of weeks for birthdays, and dessert was not skipped.

The cheesecake filled beignets at Chambar were extraordinary, tiramisu at the other place was certainly good, if a little pedestrian.

Maybe try the doughnuts at Ferris’ next time you go.

No matter how full I am, I never skip the lemon-ricotta fritters at Ferris. I'd lick the plate clean if I didn't think they would banish me for life.
