i think the instant pot craze has shifted over to the air fryer craze.

Both! Many of my peer group are becoming empty nesters and I hear things like the air fryer and insta pot have replaced their stove and oven, same with their kids who are now out on their own.

We tried an air fryer once, returned it the next day.

We just bought an induction stove, man does that heat up quick. You can't put something in the frying pan and then go do something else for a couple of minutes.

This is an opportunity to acquire a highly sought after retail area in Downtown Victoria. This heritage registered building has three distinct floor levels allowing a tenant or owner the flexibility in using all or part of the space for retail and or storage. Loading is accessible from the front double doors and or from the rear of the building via an alley off Johnson Street. The retail area and the one bedroom suite on the upper level have recently been renovated and improved with new flooring, lighting and wall finishes. The Property is being sold with vacant possession.

Oh wow, I guess Bois & Cuir is closing down.

Was this building not sold only several years ago? It was formerly the home of Christmas Village.

This local retailer has been proudly operating in downtown Victoria for nearly 30 years. Their downtown location allows them to draw on both local and tourist traffic and benefits from its proximity to Government St and the Bay Centre mall. This unique space has double frontages on to both View St and the very popular Trounce Alley which is a local hot spot for dining and service based businesses. Both during the day and late into the evening. The sellers are ready to retire and pass over their business to the next operators who have a great opportunity to acquire a long standing, profitable and turn key retail business. Included in the price is approximately $80,000-$100,000 in inventory.

The Dollar store at Tillicum Mall seems to be in trouble. Lights are on...shelves are stocked... nobody home.

That place had seen better days.

Maybe it’s time to knock that mall down and start fresh. The nicest thing about it is the Lowe’s. Great store, very clean and well organized.

Tillicum needs a University Heights type of makeover.

And easy to get customer service as there are usually more staff than customers!

Wasn't there a development proposal for the parking lot behind the mall for some residential mid/junior rise apartments or condos a few years ago? Something about demolishing the Montana's restaurant in favor of that development? The only businesses directly attached to the mall IMO that really thrive consistently are the SOF and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Whatever did happen to the residential development plan for Tillicum? Wasn't that the reason Kelsey's restaurant closed? Also I think you mean London Drugs, not Shoppers Drug Mart.

Also, isn't something supposed to be happening with the land across from Tillicum on the north side of Burnside Road?

Don’t forget Winners. That has to be a huge draw for the mall.

Winners isn't usually terribly busy the times I have been there. Marshall's at Hillside is much more popular.

Excellent opportunity to purchase a locally thriving business in the Downtown core. Store/Company . has been in business since the Mid 90's and offers its clients an extremely high level of services based on sales, service, and support consulting. They are both seller and service centre. This business is located in an extremely high foot and vehicle traffic area with a longstanding loyal clientele.

I can only think of Tesseract. Those aren’t real photos of this space, I don’t think.

Gary Beyer of Tesseract did have a mild heart attack a few weeks ago. It was announced on CFax tech talk last Saturday.

Yes and things are grinding along there; a blue construction fence was erected a few weeks ago, I see the odd piece of heavy equipment or large 5 ton truck on site. The only business still open on that entire block is the gas station. Beyond that something is happening on the larger site, its just..........doing.....................so.........................slowly........................................very......................................slowly.
