Nope, that parking sign has been around since before it was Guardian pharmacy.

Right on, I can see it in street view Google Maps.

They've already sold two penthouses with one going for $1.1 million and one for $1.2 million so not extreme optimism here.  They are moving quite well in this building.

Those are really dark balcony spaces on the 2nd & 3rd floors. I would imagine some owners will quickly apply to the new strata to have them enclosed for additional living space. I know I would. IMO the entire project looks more like a commercial/office building than a residential development. Once again, it's the sort of design that might have made a decent podium for a taller building. I'll reserve final judgement on this one until it is fully completed, but at the moment I can only give it a 6/10.

I think it would have been great for Victoria to approve a 10+ story tower right on the Oak Bay border. Not blown away by this, but good to see regardless.

I'm not sure I'm liking the look of this building.  No, I'm sure.  I don't like it.

Nparker is right, the deck spaces look like dark cavities.

I am so glad that finally a building has been built outside of downtown that isn't set back from the street with fifty feet of landscaping.

They seem a bit lighter now that the siding has been installed.

Glass railings would have been better.

I don't think that would fly in a brand new building.

The cedar was in the pictures above.  What does it look like from the street?  Perhaps the camera exposure made it look dark.

I think lanforod is right, glass railings would have softened up the look.

No, probably not, but as it is, those balconies are rather nasty little caves.

I prefer these balconies to the exposed perches most buildings have

These "balconies" just look like rooms without windows to me.

Yes and you have some privacy that you don't have with glass railings, and it does lend itself to be enclosed in the future.

I think the height of the building is appropriate for the area.
