Probably wont be long before we break 3000 listings then and continue to climb

Marko, what's driving this month's sales? Are we seeing a massive push in the condo sector, or are people buying into the slight depreciation of SFDs?

 

And just so everyone's aware, these figures do not include pre-sale transactions where many condo and townhome sales are taking place.

The rate of sales is heating up! It looks like we're on track to surpass 800, and likely land at around 825.

A solid 12% lift in sales over May of 2018 which I think was right about at the peak of the last bull run, in terms of escalating valuation.

Big jump in Greater Victoria real estate sales but depending on where you live, your home may be worth tens of thousands of dollars less.

So far, almost exactly at the same pace as June 2018.

It's actually a teensy bit higher: June 1-9 23.67 sales per day | June 1-30 2018: 23.6 sales per day

 

If this keeps up, that'll yield 710 sales, but things tend to speed up further into the month so I'm going to take a stab at 730-750 for the month, or a sales increase of 5%.
