What info are you looking for in buildings? They've (West Hills) been really active on Facebook over the last few weeks with updates / renderings. Looks good.

They are interesting. They don't seem to be blowing their own horn too much  do but certainly seem to be producing a better product and it is selling like crazy I am told. Will be interesting to see what they do next.

does anyone have any idea who "Bear Mountain Adventures" is?

 

 

 

Langford is planning to sell the North Langford Recreation Centre at Bear Mountain, with a 25-year agreement to keep it for public use.

 

The deal would see the City of Langford sell the centre, which includes a fitness centre and outdoor pool, for $3,575,000 to Bear Mountain Adventures Ltd., while keeping a 10 per cent discount for Langford residents who use it.

We were.....I must have missed that?  I have taken the kids up there a number of times but haven't since Covid.  Pool side food and a licensed patio as well.

On Monday, council received an offer from Westhills to sell the building and 186 spaces in a parking lot across the street. Now it’s asking residents to weigh in

Wow. Makes you wonder what the Mayor and council were thinking when they agreed to financially backstop the developer and how many other potential land mines there are out there.
