It's actually decent.  I've left some zinger comments on various threads that have got more views and interaction than most of my original X posts.

So on X there was a poster who stated that Putin was jailed over 20 years ago and the guy we are seeing is a government replacement. The real Putin hasn't been heard from again. Putin's wife says the Putin that came back was not her husband, and he has been sleeping on the couch for 20 years. She has moved out and refuses to have anything to do with him.

 

I would think a guy with Putin's money could afford a second bedroom rather than the couch.

We do not know how many are real views, or full 2-hour views.   But recall Tucker had the biggest show on cable news and it only drew about 3 million viewers per night.

Central Saanich residents will soon have one less social media feed to check for information on their community.

 

In April, the district will remove both its municipal and fire department accounts on X, formerly known as Twitter.

 

“The direction of the municipality is really refreshing because it’s kind of taking a step back and evaluating is this really as necessary as we thought it was,” Coun. Zeb King told CHEK News.

 

King said he’s noticed an increase in harassment and bullying on the app in recent years, adding it’s not an environment that’s consistent with the values of the municipality.

 

“There has been a lot of hurtful messaging,” he said. “The current owner has freed up sort of hate speech on that platform and there has been just an enormous amount of problems.”

In an email to CHEK News, the district said there haven’t been any specific instances of harassment that precipitated this departure.

The district also has no plans of abandoning its Facebook or Instagram accounts.

Don Lemon demanded the sun, the moon and the stars from the SpaceX boss – before being unceremoniously dumped this week, The Post has learned.

 

The ex-CNN anchor sent over an astronomical wish list to Elon Musk during contract talks to host a show on the billionaire’s social media platform X – including a free Tesla Cybertruck, a $5 million upfront payment on top of an $8 million salary, an equity stake in the multibillion-dollar company, and the right to approve any changes in X policy as it relates to news content, according to a document reviewed by The Post.

 

Lemon — who was expected to air an interview with Musk for next week’s debut episode on X — had also demanded a private jet flight to Las Vegas, a suite for him and his fiance, and that the company pay for their day drinking and massages, a source with knowledge of the situation said.

 

Musk agreed to do the interview with Lemon despite the fact that he was aware of some of Lemon’s outlandish demands, sources told The Post.

Lemon was fired hours after the one-on-one sit-down, with Musk calling the anchor “dull” and “underwhelming.”

 

The one-and-half hour grilling included testy exchanges about Musk’s political leanings, his past drug use and the site’s content moderation policy. It is scheduled to run on YouTube next week.

 

Lemon claimed on Wednesday that he was jettisoned by X because Musk reneged on his “free speech” pledge.
