well I won't argue with you ...you did however work for them untill something negative happened and you had to leave it at least that's what the rumour isKeep digging yourself a hole, HB. The Colonist never had a Monday edition, at least not since before WW2. The Times published M-Sa afternoons, and the Colonist Tu-Su mornings. When they combined to become the TC in 1980, they kept the same schedules, except that the Saturday paper was the same issue, the afternoon subscribers now got their Saturday paper mid-morning. Then later, the afternoon paper was dropped, and the morning paper became 7 days per week, until 2009.
And look what we have here. Well, how about that, the first edition of Monday Magazine, July 7th, 1975. A Monday.

Well, let's look closer shall we?

WRONG. They started publishing on Mondays since the Colonist didn't. They soon found out that there was a reason a Monday paper was not very profitable. It was not a day advertisers liked.
To publish publish a Monday paper required the staff to work on a weekend, but they found that nobody works on a weekend including the people on this forum...at least they don't seem to have anything important to say on weekends that hasn't already been discussed before on a different thread where the topic is not off topic.

Exactly. I quit in 1992. But that was 25 years ago now, so I do not even pretend to know how things work there now. We did not even use computers back then. The fax machine was new, the building had one.
Now, back to National Post. They have a new web format, not sure if it's much better than the last look.

I like the prior look better. The new format is not as easy to navigate.

^Go away if you can't bother absorbing facts that are staring you in the face. Your "facts" are faulty and hazily remembered memories. Sorry.
Myself, I like the redesign. The struggle with news sites is packing in the most information without it looking cluttered and disorganized. And of course it has to scale on everything from a widescreen monitor to a phone. And the print version of the NP has been a first class design from day one.

The Times Colonist did not exist in 1975.
The rest of us have figured it out, sorry you are having so much trouble.

The Victoria Times-Colonist says it will cease printing a Monday edition, effective June 22, 2009.

Here you go Bud. Maybe absorb your suggestion above
Monday Magazine is a free arts and entertainment magazine in Victoria BC Contrary to what the name suggests, Monday was distributed throughout the greater Victoria area every Thursday until July 2013 when it became an arts calendar monthly. The publication features articles on art, food and entertainment in Victoria but is most widely used as an event listing.
