Pretty sure we aren’t running short of hydro power at the moment…

It would be a symbolic gesture, and like most such gestures, entirely useless.

These are LED's.  They were changed several years ago.  Maybe, use your own photo rather than a lousy one that you found online and push that as fact.

How do I know that this is not your photo?  Because currently the dome is trimmed in red, green and white LED's.  I thought we had learned lessons from pushing fake news.

No, that was a couple nights ago, ate a pizza on the lawn and took that photo.

Don’t know if it had anything to do with it but it was the day before the Transgender Day of Remembrance: https://www.cheknews...slature-915052/

Yes Todd...very nice but the pic with the dome all in white lights is not a pic from this year.

When is it from then?

I know of a few transgender light displays around here, to the untrained eye they just look like “Christmas lights”. Yes I’m being completely serious.

Uncertain future for 1890s Armouries building in legislative precinct; tear down or repair?

Complex is in City of Victoria's heritage register; study being commissioned to provide options

Makes sense. Probably a Greenbrier Bunker scenario easier to keep secrets secret if things are listed as private.

The discussion should be about getting rid of the 'bunker' on the east lawn of the Parliament Buildings.

I know the cost of rehabilitating the Menzies Street armory will be huge, possibly prohibitive, but on a personal note I would be sad to see it go; after he emigrated from England post WWI our grand-dad was a BCPP motorcycle cop who trained and drilled at that location. I have several pics from that time (early 1920's) of him in uniform both inside and outside the building. Cost aside it'll be interesting to see what the James Bay/Heritage crowd has to say about the possibility of it being replaced....
