The same could be said for alcohol. If nothing else, it numbs pain and cleanses wounds.

This is true.  There has been plenty of opportunity to study the effects of alcohol to see what if any medicinal properties it has.  Disinfection seems to be the primary use.  Given the opportunity to study cannabis openly it might be found that there is some medicinal benefit or not.

Yeah. Even the dancing bananas aren't as exciting as they used to be. They used to be outlaw bananas; now they're just puppets of The Man.

The dancing banana is the man.

BC Cannabis just told me my order from 2 days ago is still in Cue. They had so many orders on the first day, it could take literally weeks for them to actually put my order together and ship it to me ):

They had 9,000 orders on day 1 and 4,000 orders on day 2. That is hardly an overwhelming number.

Maybe they've been sampling the product in which case those numbers would be simply mind boggling.

I think it's an issue of them not having enough staff to get all the order out. If you go the to the LCDB website they are hiring like crazy for Cannabis Warehouse staff. But the screening process is very strict and is done with super high security screening and background checks. If my order gets shipped out by the middle of next week I wouldn't be surprised. I think TODD got his the next day because he must have placed his order as soon as the sight went online and was one of the first order packed and shipped.

Assuming that the process is even somewhat automated, 20 people should be able to easily handle the average volume.

amazon would have delivered it on time and sent you suggestions for what to order when you get the munchies.

So that's why I keep getting boxes of adult toys in amazon prime taped boxes!

You got BooBerry, Pizomegranate, Apple Cizzinnamon, B-nOrange and straight up Berry.  Pizomegranate was the best selling flavour.  BooBerry was the least popular, as tended to turn maf****as tongues' blue, know what I'm sayin'?

I think the best part of that show was it's realism. Who doesn't know someone like J-Roc and Lahey? Bubbles was a little out there but I know someone exactly like Ricky.

The FedEx Ground guy says, "Well, I got my first pot shipment today". How do you know we ask. "Come check it out". Sure enough his van reeks like pot.

In 2007 a UPS driver told me FedEx drivers smell.

Oh look, it's a smaller, more expensive Payday bar in a pot-themed wrapper.

Thrifty knows their market. The Tuscany Village Thrifty--the one nearest to UVic--had a sale display in an aisle consisting of tiny red red Solo cups and packages of ping pong balls.
