Love how there is no setback, also love the corner glass, just hope they do a proper final treatment for the blank wall facing the pot shop.

Unfortunately I find the tiles are really cheap looking - did they buy floor tiles for ten cents on the dollar at a warehouse liquidation sale!? They obviously can go up in a hurry and big cost savings. Too bad because like the Atrium cheaping out on the exterior takes away from what is otherwise a really solid building.

I am also not 100% sold yet on the tiles, but I am reserving judgement until the project is complete. It's got to look better than the 17 floors of stucco on the Manhattan. 

 

I've never had any issues with the way the Atrium turned out.

Yeah, the Manhattan is looking very dated and very heavy compared to all the windows on the Legato. Here's hoping pink stucco isn't ready for a comeback.

This building turned out way better than I expected. Should a bought a few of the $219,900 units on the podium. They look awesome for people watching

I know I am repeating myself, but Legato really is turning out to be one of the CoV's nicer projects of late.

I don't know why but I like the frontage better than the 834 and Era. Kind of clean and simply but looks great.

It's the tower portion that really sells me on this project; clean lines and a great balance of glass to solid wall surface. As for the podium, I find it a bit bland, but it's not yet complete, so I may change my mind. It does have great proportions and creates a very nice street wall. Perhaps one day the street wall will continue in the lot adjacent where LEAF currently resides. It's a shame that the Manhattan was built in an era when the "suburban" set-back was in vogue for downtown high rises, as we'll never see the street wall continue here.

It looks great from Fort St. The front is really sharp and modern. This is also our first junior high rise that doesn't look too bully to me.
