Just invest $800 to $1000 in a decent portable A/C machine. DO NOT expect the cheapest, the 8,000 BTU unit to do the job, that's unrealistic. Get the 12,000+ machine. Use it 30 days tops. Then put it away for a year.

Interesting news, sweet. Especially on the charger.
^^ wrt parking I think for either place, evening and weekend parking on the street is not bad. Yes, you might have to plug a meter on weekends, but generally Pandora and Johnson have street parking. Pandora has that strip of angle parking that's never full on the hill to the top of the green on the parallel access road.
Regarding parking availability, something tells me that may be changing with Legato, 989 Johnson, the Wade, 1008 Pandora, 1075 Pandora, Yates on Yates, Jukebox and 819 Yates literally happening now! We're talking about ~2,000 new residents and ~1,000 new cars in the immediate area very, very soon.

Building on Johnson across from the 989 is protected so I wouldn't expect a tower there. Maybe the garage portion the building to the West may come down...
The chapel? It isn't on the heritage register, and isn't designated... so unless there's a covenant on title protecting it, I believe it can be torn down/modified. Is there something else protecting it?

I believe you're right, jackerbie. That building may be on a list somewhere but it's not a registered heritage structure.

Oh I wouldn't rely on that parking being there for long. We'll have that ROW for bike lanes in the future.

Oh no, my bad. I thought you meant all that parking on Pandora going over the 2 bunny hills. That Pandora 2 way cycle track should go all the way to Fort someday before likely dying at OB Ave.

The Robins parking across from Sutton Place East and West as well as the Mazda dealership have core sampling going on today... death toll for another parking lot?

I'm a patron of the dealership. Always seemed like a prime area for redevelopment.

Maybe the cremains of Peter Pollen are being inserted deep into the bedrock of the former home of Peter Pollen Ford so that his ghost will haunt whatever unsightly skyscraper is built on that site.

I am fairly certain that as part of the sale something was put on title to protect the chapel and the buyer agreed. It is di Castri I believe that designed it.
