I think its time for CRA to increase car values for write off, you can't buy anything decent for less than the 30k limit. Of course you are free to buy a 90k pick up and write it off fully which is what I have. Of course it also gets about 9 mpg

[We] see the concern on Model X production ramp/volumes, the subject of several recent bearish notes, as overdone at this point," Galves wrote to clients. "We don't really understand the repeated under-estimation of Tesla's ability to deliver, and see this as an opportunity...

Seems like the model X was just released in Canada and folks are phreaking over the price. Looks like pricing is coming in between $142K and $195K plus tax!

Oh wow, that's a lame price.
I still think Tesla's look like Mazda's but cost five times as much. Not a good way to go, to look like far cheaper competition.
Know it all.

Saw a number of S's in Van on the weekend. Nicer in the flesh. I like how the have some muscle car in them. Quite too. This is the big thing with EV as a vehicle platform. Less noise! Imagine the boost to living close to a busy road.

Depends. On on the highway most of the noise is tires, big trucks, and motorcycles. Modern cars are pretty quiet.

Just need one, Gary... in Tofino!
Would a Model S even be able to go Victoria to Tofino without stopping for a charge..?

I've only had it for a day but has to be the best car I've ever driven. Will it hold up to my 45,000 km/year schedule? We'll see but for now looking forward not having to visit gas stations anymore; seems a lot more convenient to come home, grab my crap out of the trunk and plug it in at the same time.
On a side note, if I ever built another home would definitively do a 320 amp service instead of 200 amps. Barely will be able to squeeze in a 14-50 Nema (50 amp plug) for the Tesla. I think when the Model 3 comes that will be our second car and at that point we won't have capacity to charge both at once.

Sweet! Congrats man.
I'm also curious how it will hold up over time. The earlier years were I guess not great on reliability, but they claim to have fixed most of the issues. Keep us updated!
