1.22 in September 2017, 1.31-1.33 this month (82/73-76).

1.34 June 2017 :)

Depends on time frame but it’s been mostly between 1.25 and 1.35 for nearly 4 years now.

Yup, with most of that in the 1.35 range now, which is where the concern is. Canada's economy is on the verge of a recession and that won't bode well for the CAD.

The US fed announced today that here are no anticipated rate hikes for the rest of the year so that should stabilize us for a while.

And Morneau insists we aren’t close to recession and growth will come back after Q1.

Meanwhile US fed predicts growth a full percentage point lower than the whitehouse estimate

Everyone’s just guessing.

Right, as a result of a stagnating US/global economy, and with the US being Canada's leading trading partner, a Canadian slowdown coupled with an American slowdown has a much greater effect on us.

Tesla’s in-car browser was hacked.

Good thing it happened as part of a competition and not at the hands of a nefarious group who might want to have some fun with unsuspecting drivers.

That's why the competitions exist.  First, hack thyself.

Hyundai burns down family’s house, nearly kills them. One of a string of engine fires in gas cars. https://www.cbc.ca/n...-risk-1.5064230

Gotta wonder if these things are really gonna take off.

Perhaps that generator can be more fuel efficient than a car engine since it can run at an optimum RPM (like the generator in the late Chevy Volt).

Almost certainly.  Well at least it's a BMW so no electricity will be wasted illuminating turn signals, right?

...strange, one might expect that an EV driver would be less dickish...but nope, BMWEV cut me off as usual on Hillside today, no signal, no shoulder check, nothing...

Range anxiety brings out the best in us.

In the EV world, is there also such as thing as Range Envy?  :)
