I think the real winners today are you Tesla share holders!!
Look at what’s going on in after market trading! The stock is up 10% almost since this morning. GM announced it will have access to Tesla chargers.
General Motors (GM.N) will join Ford (F.N) in adopting Tesla's (TSLA.O) North American charging plug standard and give GM electric vehicle buyers access to the Tesla SuperCharger network under an agreement announced on Thursday by GM CEO Mary Barra and Tesla chief Elon Musk.

There’s been battery tech news like clockwork for decades. If they all panned out, we’d be long since driving 10k on one charge of a $10 battery that fits in your pocket.

Cool. Wake me up on that one when you can buy a car here in Canada with that battery in it, meeting those claims. Nearly 1000 km range with 6 minute charge time with currently available charging infrastructure?

Toyota and Hyundai have put their weight behind hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles (FCVs) in the push to reach net zero emissions, but dismal sales suggest customers remain extremely wary.
Such vehicles accounted for only 0.02% of global passenger vehicle sales last year, according to a report published Thursday by Bloomberg NEF, and making any long-term projections is difficult until they reach 0.1%, or about 80,000 vehicles.
On paper, hydrogen offers faster refueling and longer range, but the absence of refueling infrastructure and mass-market applications makes wider adoption a slim prospect in the near term. Most research suggests battery electric vehicles are the quickest, cheapest way to slash emissions from passenger cars.
"We are not able to make a long-term outlook for passenger FCVs while sales are so low, show limited momentum, and are highly concentrated in a few markets and models,” BNEF said in the report.
