Oh yeah, they’re in the final stretch and there’s a lot of demand for move-in ready inventory. Once this completes the final phase of sales will ramp up.

Residents are moving into Cypress now. Occupancy for the Oaks building is a few months away.

Things are looking really good here. The project has come together and the finishing touches are coming along.

gawd that brick.

It might have been OK if it had been limited to the lower floor of the townhouses.

now let's see more fee-simple row houses. get rid of those strata fees and busy-body councils.

still rare but allowed now.

I love my fee-simple row house. I wish they existed in Victoria

The brick looks nothing like images or models. Perhaps future prospective buyers should ask for exterior samples to ensure you are purchasing what you think.  The brick looks far too busy looking

Well, if a buyer had done their homework, they would have discovered that the brick that was used was indeed the brick that was submitted to the City by Abstract as part of their development proposal: "Carbondale". If you think that a developer's renderings and models are represented to be photo-realistic, then I will whip up a few bridges to sell you. They are intended to be suggestive of massing, sight lines and general tones. That's all.

I'm liking the brick a lot. I'd say the repetition of the townhouses might be too excessive, but otherwise this is the sharpest modern residential development in the neighbourhood by a fair margin. What else compares?*

It's great. Wait for some foliage to grow and it's going to blend in very nicely.

aastra's nod is like an architectural award for these parts.

I agree. Get some weather on there and mute it a bit and it will look fantastic. Other than my thinking that anything remotely resembling 'arts and crafts' should be firebombed, there's a nice contrast between traditional and modern on the site. Barrister hates it with a passion so I think they did well.

So about 10 suites. Looks like they have another 3 to 4 months to try and sell out. Activity in the $1,000,000 to 1,400,000 seem to be selling in the resale market.  Why do sales here seem to remain slow?
