...if they're banning people with medical prescriptions from taking their medication the supreme court may have something to say about that...

I have a right not to have to breath in second-hand smoke on BC Ferries, even if it is allegedly medicinal smoke.

(there - back on topic)

Yes you probably do, on an airplane there is no option, on bc ferries is it unreasonable not to make a little space for prescription use?

Is there really a need for someone to take medication every 90 minutes (the duration of a Swartz Bay- Tsawwassen voyage)?

Do you want the person taking it for nausea vomiting all over the triple o?

Some routes are longer.

If they really wanted to avoid vomiting, they would avoid Triple-O's.

What routes are longer? Other than Duke Point and way north?

Okay but I would question if that's beef stroganoff in the buffet.

The island hops can take several hours to complete in one direction.

Check the schedules. A 4PM departure from Mayne on a Saturday won’t get you into Swartz Bay until 6:30. Your options on either side of 4 are 11AM and 6:15PM.

Even if you were to arrive at the terminal at 5:30 AM?

They are 6 weeks early and yet it is scheduled to go back the first week of June? So if they were on schedule then the ship wouldn't be in service until almost August?

It was going to leave end-April.

Where are you getting that info? I heard from a BC Ferries Engineer that there is a problem with a sensor on the LNG system on the Salish Eagle that prevents it from using LNG fuel.

BC Ferries doesn't have LNG at terminals so they're filling up with trucks. This isn't ideal for many reasons.

The situation is different at each terminal so the three boats, of which two are in service currently, aren't being fueled the same.

The boats can run LNG. The issues is getting the fuel from the truck to the tank and is rectified on two of the three for sure - but I'm reasonably sure it's all three now. If you take the Tsawwassen based Salish you can hear the 'burp' sound of the LNG from the Gulf Island facing end. That's the easiest way to tell from a common observers perspective what's being used as fuel.

I think there's a lot of LNG rumours and bad Intel because it's new. But new to us. It's otherwise well established and BC Ferries bought from a global leader. Not too say there isn't teething issues but the boats also have amazing warranties.

That makes no sense, there is no way it would be in service by spring if that is the case because it the ships leaves Poland by end of April then by the time it gets back to Canada it would have been June (43 days is how long it took to get to Poland), and they still have to do more work, get certification and train the crews once the ship is back here.

Why do you keep pushing back on this? Can you please show us any evidence that what 57WestHills is saying is not correct?
