...When asked about when the Roundhouse Market would start, the issue of lack of tenant parking was the "issue" holding things up.  Maybe they'll have to nix a building to make some room, maybe it'll be the hotel...

Why not include more additional underground parking or incorporate some above ground parking into one of the towers?

How tall is that, looks like 27 or so.  No name yet?

Is the Condo Name Generator™ on the fritz again?

There is a naming contest for the building that was started at the October meeting I mentioned above.  The winner, and building name, will be announced at the December Christmas party.  There were lots of suggestions on the board, I went with something minimalist, 4.

Is it really going to resemble the other Bayview towers so closely, right down to the reddish-brown brick? I was kind of hoping for a curve or non-90 degree angle as well.

Do we have a local project called ""Quattro" yet?

Will this next tower be built by Bosa?

Does the winner receive a “free” unit in the completed building? :-)

No, Focus Equities is building this one themselves, just like Bayview One.

The winner gets $1500, so not quite a condo.

I submit:

Fore!

And have other golf themes in and around the lobby.

Ugh, even more of that orangey red brick? Hasn't Vic West had enough of that already?

Seems quite wide, too. At this point that same Bayview look and feel is so familiar methinks it really is time for a departure in some aspects. If they're sticking with brick then how about a different colour? Ideally it wouldn't be brick at all, there's just so much brick over there now.

If the top two levels had curved windows at the front (like the Janion) it could look pretty sharp.

It really seems to be turning into "lather, rinse, repeat" doesn't it?

Hey, I'm excited that we're getting a 26 floor building.

Two concerns though:
Our general aversion to height is creating another building that is too chunky. This would look so much more elegant if it we're 20% thinner and 20% taller.

The plan seems to be to have 7 or 8 buildings at Bayview / the Roundhouse that all look very similar. They weren't kidding when they said "master planned".

Hmm, my wife just pointed out that one of the name suggestions she saw was Harborview.  Could be a slip, but shouldn't the wording in the announcement have a space between "harbour" and "view" if they were simply referring to the building having a harbour view?
