Update on the Guy Gondor file copying controversy - he was the former Saanich IT manager accused of accessing, copying and providing senstive municipal files to his son who has been in a years-long by law dispute with neighbors over the use of his Saanich property.

 

Things don't look so good for my old boss and it makes me a bit sad he's got himself into this predicament. And clearly Judge Gomery doesn't think GG been entirely forthcoming in his 'explanation' for his actions. Proof again I suppose that some parent's will literally go to the wall for their kids.

 

What I don't understand is how an experienced IT executive like him could possibly think he could access secure systems without having his electronic fingerprints in the form of his user_ID all over the scene: any competent IT forensic analysis would sniff that out in no time:
