Not to nitpick, but I feel as though the choice of music each time I've been there (four times now) could/should be reconsidered. The loungy-thumpy-drum-and-base music choice just doesn't jive with the atmosphere and the clientele, IMO. Or maybe the point is to get you into a fork-mouth-chew-fork-mouth-chew rhythm and get you out the door :)

I am scheduled for my inaugural visit to B&B on Wednesday for a friend's birthday lunch. I've heard mostly good and some about the place so I am looking forward to forming my own opinion.

My wife ordered the Confit Chicken Thigh, being heavily influenced by her love of the Duck Leg Confit served at Hardware Grill in Edmonton, where we have dined for 20+ years. (If you’re in E-town, the Grill is consistently excellent)

Missed that boat:

That's a big walk, from James Bay to West Bay. I assume you took the water taxi back to FW?

Nay, we're walkers.

Clocked over 10 km some days on the iPhone gadget.  (Wife checks these things)

Yes, heard that this morning.

Shame actually, I truly feel a sense of loss.

Hope you enjoy.  I'll go back some time to try other dishes.

Maybe the moon will hit your eye like a big pizza pie...

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit - lunch - at B&B yesterday. I had some of the best gnocchi I have ever tasted (as light as a feather) in a very flavourful basil-tomato sauce. I also had a taste of one of my dining companion's (very large) pizza and was also impressed. The desert sampler trio, (1/3 of which, the tonka bean cheese cake, was my favourite) and perfect coffee completed our meal. At $18, my 9 oz pour of the "monte antico toscano" was a bit pricey, but as it was a special occasion, I didn't balk too much.

I thought B&B was surprisingly busy for mid-week lunch, so I am glad we made a reservation. Needless to say I now must return for dinner.
