^ my point was that people will report adverse effects regardless.

Registration for the province’s age-based mass COVID-19 vaccination clinics went off without a hitch after opening at 8 a.m. today with more than 90,000 people registering online and by phone.

By 11 a.m., 93,031 people had registered, said Health Minister Adrian Dix, including about 82,000 online and 11,000 by phone.

And people won't as well. There was a Harvard study that suggested the system was grossly under reported. This is a serious system. Do you think a doctor just reports whatever? Sheesh. Trust the figures on "cases" which don't even mean illness and have no description but don't pay attention to this? You can read the descriptions of each case if you like?  can give you the instructions on how to work this cumbersome system.

And how is the experiment going in the EU?

Astrazeneca isn't doing so good. Forget blood clots! over 50,000 serious Nervous System disorders have been reported! I'm not sure what exactly that means but that is a lot of "cases" non the less.

But hard to tell since I can't find an easy way to see how many shots have been administered of each. Maybe ask if you can choose the brand? At least to avoid the Astrazeneca one. My friend told me they wouldn't give him a choice.

We should be taking this data serious and we should be talking about it so people know to report events. This is an experiment after all. Make no doubts about that fact. This is the trial. Contrary to what is projected by the media and the authorities these products are not approved for use. They are using a loophole created by us being in a state of emergency to bypass the usual process.

Risks are unkown and even some are known to be unknown. See also from the above product literature.

I find the last statement alarming since "Gene expression refers to the conversion of genetic information from genes via messenger RNA (mRNA) to proteins. The entire set of genes in an organism is called the genotype. This set of genes includes alleles that when expressed determine the trait or phenotype of an organism. According to the central dogma of molecular biology this conversion occurs via transcription to generate mRNA followed by translation to produce the gene product, usually a protein."

What is genotoxicity? "In genetics, genotoxicity describes the property of chemical agents that damages the genetic information within a cell causing mutations, which may lead to cancer. While genotoxicity is often confused with mutagenicity, all mutagens are genotoxic, whereas not all genotoxic substances are mutagenic."

I think it's relevant!

Despite a furor over extra sailings added for the Easter long weekend, BC Ferries said that passenger and vehicle traffic were down on the major routes.

Spokesperson Deborah Marshall said that long weekend traffic was down 63 per cent for foot passengers and 46 per cent for vehicles compared to 2019, the last pre-pandemic Easter in B.C. However, Marshall said it was up compared to 2020.

As an essential service, ferries are continuing to operate at half capacity in order to permit physical distancing.

In a tweet, BC Ferries said they had added “a third of the extra sailings we usually would for a Easter long weekend.”

BC Ferries said they were unable provide passenger counts.

Why can they not provide passenger counts. They keep track of the number of tickets sold?

yes.  a bit comical.

it was only down 46% from 2019.

so the number would be well into the thousands each day of the weekend.

@dasmo could you kindly **** off with your fearmongering?

Over 6 million covid-19 vaccines have been administered in Canada. Zero deaths have been attributed to receiving the vaccine. There are a handful (14, last I checked) deaths under investigation in people that have received the vaccine but could have died from any number of ways.

Meanwhile, just over 1 million people have been infected by covid 19 in Canada, and 23,000 have died.

What's safer, covid-19 or the vaccine?

COVID-19: Experts say variants likely make up at least 40% of B.C.'s cases, double what officials have disclosed

Several prominent epidemiologists say B.C. is drastically undercounting variants of concern, which could lead to public complacency

https://vancouversun...-have-disclosed

Internal slides from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control, leaked to Postmedia News, show that presumptive variant cases made up at least 40 per cent of all positive COVID-19 cases as of March 27. That’s double the estimate given by provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry on March 25, when she said about 20 per cent of positive COVID-19 cases were variants.
