Makes it harder to find the 3rd when the two who knew him/her are dead.
Perhaps, or maybe they’re 3 junkies that all live in the same flop together, and he’ll be easy to identify.
Regardless, I have no issues with the outcome, and remind those who might take issue there’s a rank and file hero currently fighting for his life … so I don’t really care what happened to the two shooters, or what happens to the third guy … dead or alive as it were.

^ Doubt they were junkies. Junkies get everything for free, why would they rob anyone?
If they were white skinheads you know that they would already have been identified.

If you come heavily armed to a bank robbery (as these criminals appear to have done), don't expect to come out on the winning end. They made their choice and I have zero sympathy for them.

Why not slip the teller a note and walk away quietly? Or rob someplace else?
I hope we eventually get the fully story. But knowing bc police we probably won’t. How long did it take to get answers on the metchosin inmates murder? Buziak? I bet we will be left wondering unfortunately

And you are right, why guns blazing?
If GVRT got there, they are at least 15 minutes away, no, or do they assemble from individual patrol cars? In any event, when that gang stormed from the Japanese parking lot, that must have been well into it, 10 or more minutes. Did other cops have them pinned down?
It’s a strange case, for sure.

With two dead we won’t hear the details for a very, very long time. Unless reporters convince staff/customers to talk.
Too many witnesses. Stories will start appearing on social media from people in the bank.

IIO will try to tell people not to talk. We will see.
And the media will pay them to talk.

There’s another photo from a different angle showing a river of blood coming from that guys head … which will definitely lighten up one’s complexion.
Safe bet that’s an actual dead shooter.

What about if they were coerced?

BC police have been known to withhold that indefinitely.
Like the guy they killed near the Nanaimo ferry terminal.

Do we know the name of the man killed by police near Mayfair Mall a few months ago?
I think no:

“This level of violence in my service with Saanich, being just shy of 27 years, there has been nothing to this extent in my experience,” Duthie told the media outside the detachment.
Duthie said police believe some officers will be released from hospital soon, while others have more serious injuries and have been taken into surgery.
Officers were called to a report that armed men had entered the bank Tuesday morning, but Duthie said the shooting started when the suspects left the bank, creating a situation that was very dangerous for the public.
"I don't know who fired first at this point. But there were multiple gunshots that were fired. And where we're at, I don't know."

Per the press conference, the GVERT was already assembled and doing something unrelated nearby (training, surveillance, who knows) which explains how they were able to get on scene so quickly.

“Our supervisors are asking additional paramedics to come in,” he said, after six paramedics went on leave due to the added stress.
Come on, hold it together. It’s literally your job.
