That’s anarchy.

Human beings need a social order. I’d rather have a king at the top, then Biden.

First a king, and then Biden?

Or a king rather than Biden?

Then Biden.

Tradition is important. Your comment about the King’s Printer is on point.

Know it all.

Ultimately the Mayor decides what goes on the agenda. ..

Given who the new mayor is, this is supposed to give me less cause for concern?

What do you feel the King Charles offers us in terms of tradition and social cohesion?

It’s not anarchy, it’s a republic.

Is there an example of a contemporary, well-functioning republic on which to model Canada?

Our system of laws etc.  "The Crown" for example.

I imagine I will pay about as much attention to the edicts of King Charles as I did to those of his mother, which is to say, very little.

It’s the legal mechanism of our monarchy that’s the problem not this man in flesh and blood.

Our system just requires the monarchy to live in the Commonwealth.

I think there is a more appropriate thread for the monarchy vs. republic debate.
