It wasn’t the worst in the world but the bakery and cafes there with the patios open probably don’t love when the wind shifts.

I don't recall that being an issue in the past. Did you ask if the scent is a more recent occurrence?

Maybe it’s the coffee shop.

Ha no definitely not. I don't mind a little sewage smell to be honest. Reminds me of Venice. It is not for everyone though.

Perhaps because I was there in mid-May, before it gets hot, but not once did I smell sewage in Venice.

There's abundant glass on the street-facing side. More than we've seen on any recent project. But I suppose that's because of the minimal windows on the east & west sides of the building.

It's not the prettiest edifice to appear on the local landscape in recent times, but it's not the ugliest either.

It's like the architectural equivalent of a VV forumer.

When all the lights are on this place puts out a lot of good vibes. I remember not being particularly enthused about this proposal when it first came up. Stupid me, they made it work.

It's a shame 1088 isn't about twice as tall. The monotony of building heights along much of this block is staggering (unlike the buildings themselves).

I was actually thinking less is more in this case. I hope the blockbuster stuff yet to come on the Mazda site doesn't blow the whole deal.
