I was working from home full time when I was told I had to prove vaccination or lose my job. There is no reason to trust the BC Public Service and/or government in anything it says.

I would say WFH results in gained weight and less exercise. Long term effect of WFH is diabetes and heart disease.

I can see many of my co-workers have packed on the pounds.

Well many would have time to work out and get out of the house.  While working from home people can do a number of things.  Hence less productivity sadly but leads to a more the desire work/life balance people want.  But yes working less for the same pay is desirable.

Tell your boss you will work from the office for 15% more. Danger pay…

Why can't working from home just be 15% less? Reduced danger pay.

Because of inflation and you were forced by the to work from home. That is now the new normal. For that, it’s 15% plus a gas allowance and a parking spot!

Trying to decipher.

You are saying because of inflation and me that y'all were forced to work from home?  I'm not sure anyone was forced, it was offered and people who could, for the most part, jumped at the chance.

Yes, it's all your fault!

You have the right to refuse to work in an unsafe environment. So require your workplace to test every surface for disease daily and show proof that all the management get's weekly booster shots.

No one was forced....

For Immediate Release
April 21, 2020

VANCOUVER, B.C. — The COVID-19 crisis is deepening for British Columbia businesses with four-in-ten (43%) of those surveyed stating they can only continue to operate for up to three months under current restrictions. For businesses temporarily closed, the future is similarly dire, with only half (53%) expecting to reopen once the restrictions are eased on workplace operations, while 38% are unsure, and 8% will not reopen.

Yes at times businesses were forced to close and restrictions were tough on many.  This has been discussed over and over.  I know you want an apology to make it all better but we need to move on.  Last time this was discussed the board was closed.  I don't see you saying anything new though I appreciate the update.

We are talking about work from home and perceived reduced production from some.

They did, I know many business owners who did very well.  I know many that haven't had a better summer this year.  Again off track.  I want to work from a beach if you please.

Curious to know actually. 8% closed now doesn't seem that far off.

You cannot see the context between those..  Some businesses closed, those people did not work from home.  Context.
