Ya, just watch Her. That moment when he asks his AI girlfriend if she is in love with other people and she answers yes. 8653 other people…. Profound movie.

If you watch some of the OpenAI promo from their latest release you might notice that they make the woman’s voice very flirty…

You think they got people addicted and manipulated now? Just wait until the chat bot reads your reactions, both physically through sensors but also your digital trail. It will be very persuasive and very addictive.

Ok but are there any negatives?

While I like the irreverent humour, having kids I see this as THE existential threat of their time.

The Cornography aspect alone can potentially decimate social cohesion and population.

Japan is a great example.

Japan’s population is projected to decline to 63 million in 2100, half of its population in 2022. Behind the trend lies Japan’s declining birth rate….

Another reason is changing lifestyles. In the past, a typical family was a man and a woman who get married before they are 30 and then have children. The wife raises these children while the husband earns an income. This pattern changed as people began to pursue their own aspirations and society began to accept diversity. Reflecting this change, the number of marriages per 1000 people declined from 10 in 1970 to 6.4 in 2000 and to 4.1 in 2022.

That’s one way of saying they have a corn addiction problem. And that’s just old world corn. Not the kind that can read your thoughts and convince you to marry it.

In his defence, it’s not that the word is taboo. It’s that it attracts bots to post here etc. it’s not that we can’t discuss it. Corn.

I said it’s not rocket science to stop bots, that’s why we don’t have any here.

What has proven to be difficult, is to explain to grown human men the meaning of common sense courtesy and censorship. Since posters here sometimes can’t help themselves with their potty mouths and edginess, I give them a helping hand.

...how’s this guy going to feel when the ai wifey dumps him too?

I bet AI wifey already has her electronic eye on a sexy, young PlayStation 5.

NParker, stop it. I've removed those posts.

There are repercussions on search engines to those terms, that can be very problematic.

DO NOT discuss those issues on this forum, that we are actively censoring for a reason. I'm not playing. I'm more than happy to issue a two week suspension to anyone who wants to be cute about this.

What did I miss?

Anyway, I’ve sometimes wished Siri had a more alluring voice. If I’m going to take driving directions from a gal she should at least make me feel excited about it.

We were just talking about corn as it relates to the danger it represents on the young minds of tomorrow in the context of AI's power of persuasion combined with it's capability of simulating anyone's version of reality.
