A new poll released this week found that Ben Shapiro — the co-founder and editor emeritus of The Daily Wire and host of “The Ben Shapiro Show,” the top conservative podcast in the nation — is ranked as the most trusted major conservative media personality.

The poll from WPA Intelligence surveyed 1,000 verified registered voters across the U.S. in mid-December and found that the most trusted major media personality was Left-of-center comedian Bill Maher, host of HBO’s “Real Time.”

Among respondents who were familiar with the personalities, 52% trusted Maher, 49% trusted Shapiro, 46% trusted Joe Rogan, 43% trusted Tucker Carlson, and 42% trusted Jake Tapper.

Rogan is host of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” the most downloaded podcast in the world. Carlson’s program ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight” was the highest rated show on Fox News.

The poll found that the total net trust level — when accounting for Democrats, Republicans, and independents — for each of the personalities was Maher +3%, Shapiro -1%, Rogan -7%, Tapper -8%, and Carlson -11%.

MacDonald grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, a city of a million inhabitants in central Canada where the average high in January is 20 degrees Fahrenheit. His dad was a contract negotiator for oil rigs. After high school, MacDonald worked in construction, specifically carpentry. When he wasn’t building houses or on rigs, he performed in pro-wrestling matches on pay-per-view, wrestling against ex-WWF competitors and touring on Canada’s professional circuit as All-Star Tom MacDonald.

The song itself is not my cup of tea. But I’m thinking the popularity and how mainstream it’s going must mark a sea change in the political climate. People are getting increasingly fed up with the woke identity politics / virtue signaling / cancel culture of the progressive left. Aka “populism” is on the rise.
I predict a Trump/poilievre future for our countries.

It’s not my thing either, but I do quite like at least some of eminems stuff so I’m not opposed to good rap.
