A refresher:
I don't think either of them are a good example of how to do a mechanical penthouse. They're both really bad.

Contruction has officially finished! No one was wearing hard hats.

However, I thought construction had been halted! As it was gray, ugly, and I was sure there was stuff that needed doing. Before I knew it I saw people and things on the balconies, and my fears were realised - the building was just ugly!
I don't like it too much, but it is pretty dang tall!

For a relatively inexpensive, relatively ordinary highrise building, Belvedere turned out quite nicely. Wouldn't be a bad design for a Songhees highrise, for example. (or a James Bay one)

But what's more tragic is there's no Starbucks within three blocks of these developments

Still no word about a possible grocery store for the Y-lot. The realtors insisted Urban Fare or another higher-end grocery store was going to lease space in either Astoria or Belvedere.
They had to be lying, there's no chance Urban Fare would ever move into such a small space.

Looks like Parkside will be the last one built - not including the Falls of course.
