In Journey luckily the one guy is mostly behind his keyboard and has no need to approach or interact with the guitar guy. Nanes escape me for now. EDIT Neil Schonn is one.

farrell's wife has an explanation:

WHY: Perry’s frustration had been mounting, night after night, he felt that the stage volume had been extremely loud and his voice was being drowned out by the band. Perry had been suffering from tinnitus and a sore throat every night. But when the audience in the first row, started complaining up to Perry cussing at him that the band was planning too loud and that they couldn’t hear him, Perry lost it.

cream had the same problem; iirc it was jack bruce who always had his bass too loud which aggravated ginger baker. usually baker couldn't get along with anybody but in that case perhaps he was justified.

A bit too gossipy perhaps, but Jonathan Cain (keyboards) is a hard-core Christian, one who began preaching from the Journey stage, and using his position in Journey to solicit anybody and everybody to commit to a conversion to his brand of quite radical Christian beliefs. 
He and Schonn have worked something out that allows for Journey to continue to tour - but they apparently have absolutely nothing to do with each other beyond their rote playing of old Journey songs, along with whatever publicity is required to keep the Journey money machine rolling along.

Farrell has been consuming a couple of bottles of wine during the bands performances for years now.

At the point in the show where he decided to chest-bump Navarro and make a couple of wimpy taps on Navarro's arm, Farrell was already totally sh_t faced, as he is at about the half-way point of every concert they perform.

 

He's a hard core alcoholic.
