So we can finally start complaining about blocked views, navigation hazards, too many rich people and too much noise, etc.?
Yeah. Where's Knot-a-Yacht when you need him (her)?

Yeah, when I spoke to the dock manager a week or so ago she mentioned it was going to get busy.
She also said they're going to have a charity fashion show featuring garments made of recycled plastics and using the marina as runways. It's coming up on July 1st. https://vimarina.ca/...ational-marina/

It looks like everything is set up for a nice game of "toss the green bike into the harbour".

Two more appear to be heading towards the marina. At this rate it’ll be full for the weekend.
Yachts or U-bicycles?

I assumed he was talking about seals. He really needs to be more clear.

The ubike location is odd given that the pathway from the marina to downtown doesn't allow bikes.
The road is close by. You can drive within like 5-10m of the entrance to the docks.

Nobody goes there anymore - it's too crowded.

Two sailboats and two yachts moored parallel to the two buildings just off the edges of the camera. Geez, I need a wider lens, gonna have to shoot this one with my old Sony R1.

Yeah not too many mega yachts there but in fairness any of the dingy's are still larger than my yacht!

Most of the boats are of the same type, so it looks like a group booking our meet up.
It is the first of many "rendezvous" you will see. Brands invite all of their clients together for a big party to say "thank you". The Victoria International Marina is the only facility in the Pacific Northwest that can do this. You are witnessing the very first time that this many Superyachts have been in one marina/place in the pacific northwest at one time. Next weekend there is another one... hosted by M&P Mercury.
