Oh yeah, ok, I thinl that was the first draft. It was later altered quite substantially. I'll have to see if I can dig up some images.

It was a challenge because of the steep slope of the ground and the pre-existing JD building but the present "solution" of a wide driveway abutting a blank wall that transitions to the JD looks awkward.

I guess you didn't stick around long enough to see the installation of the French Balconies on the North Side:

Alas, I did not. I did however notice some of the balcony railing frames and "Juliet" railings are being installed at Hudson Walk 1 today. Lots of concrete being poured there as well.

Amazing--ten years since this project (then known as "The Well") was announced.

By "the well" they meant dig a huge pit and let it fill with water for a decade, right?

I wonder what the approximate distance between the second tower and the Jack Davis building is?  I imagine that the JD will dominate the view for the south-facing units on the lower floors of Phase 2.

Probably most of the south facing units will have a "pinkish" view, since I don't think HW2 is going to be a great deal taller than the Jack Davis Building. Those future residents have my deepest sympathies.

I think that the largest hold now is Wale rd near that new Holiday in. Its big is deep and it has a lake with grasses bulrushes and waterfowl  Much larger By volume than Capitol CC.

The cargo elevator on the west side is being dismantled.  All the plywood has already been removed.
