"Antifa", which is not an organization BTW, are anti-fascists. They respond to Fascists. Providing platforms to fascists is not "civil debate".
What really makes this offensive MIke, is that you know that the violence from the Right, has prompted the reaction from the Left yet somehow you smear those who are standing up to Fascists.
I know we can debate who they identify as Fascists and I will accept they may go too far. That does not change the fact that Fascists are being emboldened by the violent language of Conservative leaders and have been for decades.
Why do people on the left lose all critical thinking skills when it comes to this? You know just calling opponents fascist to give your violent activism legitimacy is textbook strategy for the radical left and has been for decades. Kind of like "the war on terror" the devil is in the details. Who could possibly against be against a war on terror right? Who supports terror? Its the same thing with antifa.
As for "The violence from the right" that has sparked such a brave and valiant antifa reaction, that's literally just having different opinions and daring to voice them on campuses or in speaking events. Antifa literally believes words and opinions they don't agree with are acts of violence. I'm not making this up, this is all admitted.
There is no justification for groups like antifa. These pathetic larpers are destroying discourse and doing more to radicalize the right and left than anyone.
