They will be starting to market and look for tenants in the next few months. They don't anticipate breaking ground for 18 months to 2 years.

IT needs a major work over.... Please start a new thread on Centennial Square in the Core section.
Thanks....and great topic for discussion too.
So in regards to the above. Am I alone in thinking this urban renewal project from the era of the Jetsons is long overdue a major re-hab? Let's start with knocking down that ghastly parkade ("updated" with the 1980s pastel palette) then work our way over to that abomination that passes as the addition to City Hall.
Comments?

I live in The Denby too! We just moved in here 4 months ago. So far it has been quite nice, except for that idiot freak who comes out of his apartment every night at 4 in the morning and starts yelling at the top of his lungs!! Anyhow, thanks for updating us on this development. I could not make the meeting because I had to work. This sounds very exciting. A 14 story office building will fit into this area perfectly. I can not wait to see what this area of town will look like in 5 years.

Sweet, well nice to meet you. If we catch each other in the elevator again and I give you a weird look say hi to me anyways...I for some reason can never remember what people look like and it is awful. So who is the girl yeller? Is she from our building?

It is called Gateway Green (We have had gateways and greens before but never combined)
So it has been upped to 15 storeys / 57 metres. Ground floor retail and total sqft of 145 000 Feet.
It is a very nice looking modern squarish office building. Imagine a combo of first island financial and the CRD building but with more glass.
The first three floors have a living wall along the street. It seems like a pretty cool idea.

Anyways the 15 floor actually is a partial mask for the elevator housing. They are also going for LEED certification and it will have a green roof. And 2 roof top patios (just for Baro).
Can't think of anything else.

Good news on the increase in height and the hiding of the elevator housing. The living wall and the green roof is very very good stuff too.
Any renderings available to post?
