Mike, Is it possible that Mirage- as an entity- has dissolved? This was the last of the 3 locations using the Mirage name...

She had been trying to sell, a woman that owned a few, I know that.

Its a business and businesses sell stuff to make money so yes everything must go so they can make some profits...
many stores on Government St use that tactic...creating a false sense of urgency that one may miss out or that there are good deals not to be missed

Yeah, someone obviously felt that "urgency" and scooped up the Led Zepellin framed poster - at the "everything must go" price of just $75.00 (marked down from $250). Say what?

There are a lot of rules around this type of advertising but there is little enforcement unless someone complains. In any event, saying 'everything must go' doesn't mention that the store is closing or going out of business even though you may draw that conclusion.

For a moment, I thought Saanich was going to allow a pot shop to open.

Yeah, I wandered by today and they were open. Nice space, bikes, accessories, clothes, repair area. Several of the bikes I saw were in the $3000-$5000 range. I didn't realize they had JUST opened or I would have taken some pictures and actually looked at the price range, versus just thinking my car was worth just more than some of the mountain bikes. The guy said they were still setting up, with more inventory to come.
