Pacific Trekking is moving from their Government St. location to 688 Broughton St. effective April 1st.

This is the store that has the perpetual upstairs "clearance" section - where you can buy a 50% off "clearance" jacket that was first marked up by 50%.

Their much smaller new digs...

Yup. Owned by Frontrunners. So Mr. Reid now has three shoe stores within steps of each other, two sharing a common entrance. That's pretty good.

This is coming to Fort St.

It now strikes me, after placing it here, I have no idea what it is.  Might be in the wrong place.

Anyone?

So... I think yes?

"The biophilia hypothesis suggests that humans possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature and other forms of life. Edward O. Wilson introduced and popularized the hypothesis in his book, Biophilia (1984). He defines biophilia as "the urge to affiliate with other forms of life"."

I would say pot shop.

Some time ago (December?) pot shops were supposed to have stopped opening, prior to rezoning.  I guess we let that slide too.

A sign for another has gone up at 853 Cormorant, just steps from the Ministry of Health.

I guess these illegal businesses hope that by getting CoV licenses they will be grandfathered regardless of what regulations the province enacts in the future. I think they might be in for a bit of a surprise.

Oh ya, I forgot I took a photo.  Windows were all covered, but I got one through the transom over the door.

Now you can clearly see what it's going to be.

I have no idea how you come to these conclusions.

If the following does not scream pretentious I don't know what does.

"The biophilia hypothesis suggests that humans possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature and other forms of life. Edward O. Wilson introduced and popularized the hypothesis in his book, Biophilia (1984). He defines biophilia as "the urge to affiliate with other forms of life".

What does the name "Biophilia" have to do with furniture? Are they employing the "Flintstones" aesthetic in their products?
