I have been saying that it should be the Pandora Avenue bridge for eons since the alignment is now with Pandora. Seems like an easy way to prevent future protests.

I've always thought that too and to me, makes more sense now that the new bridge is more aligned with Pandora than the old one was. Pandora is also a prettier name than Johnson, despite the negative connotation that locals may have with "Pandora".

The Johnson family is singlehandedly responsible for climate change?

Is this the same Johnson family for which our street/bridge derive their names?

And the spineless vicPD will let them. Pathetic.

Anything to do with furthering the propaganda of a Climate Crisis.....the police will stay the heck away from.

It's an extremely political thing far above the chief of police.

They are planning a sit-in on the bridge tomorrow.

As long as we don't have any jumpers, I would keep an eye on anyone standing up.

The protestors have now occupied the bridge.

It's hard to say how many there are, but I'd wager maybe 200-300?

Their claim was 1 minute of sit-in for each year remaining until climate catastrophe. My take from their extended stay is that the earth has more time than was previously believed. Quite a relief really.

Lame . That’s just Something for them to post on social media and feel cool about. They should have brought tear gas and water cannons and maybe the dogs
