My parcel from Gibsons took 8 days with two changes in expected delivery dates. It did arrive on the same day as it said it was out for delivery.

Two weeks ago, Canada Post put up notices in my condo building that they'll stop deliveries (and we can pick up our mail out of town, at their Glanford Sorting center), due to employee safety concerns over lack of mask wearing if improvements are not soon noticed.
I think some of our worst offenders are building staff.

Never let it be said that I don't give credit where it is due. I just got in from my regular Sunday grocery shopping only to discover a Canada Post delivery person dropping off at least 1/2 dozen packages in my condo lobby. Alas, none were for me.

Canada Post must have worked double-overtime this weekend. Three of the four things that I ordered from Amazon since just before the start of the new year arrived today. It was a very tight squeeze in my condo mailbox, I must say.

Looks like transit times are returning to normal.
I dunno, I had something shipped from Ontario on Jan 7th.
It was posted "Item in transit" in Richmond on Jan 24th and the original expected delivery was the 25th.
The 25th came and went and the expected delivery updated to the 27th.
The 27th came and went but the expected delivery still reads the 27th.

It doesn't seem like there is any method to their madness. Another part of that very same order I mentioned above arrived two weeks ago. Seems just luck of the draw.

We are even experiencing this with IRCC, no rhyme no reason for the order things are done.

Would have agreed until I order two items over the weekend that both said 2 day delivery and then were updated this morning to push out delivery an additional week.
I had an order for an item in Richmond that didn't arrive after 3 weeks so I cancelled it with Amazon and got a refund. It arrived this morning. Will chat with Amazon and see what they want to do.

Sounds like you just got a free item.

If I was unethical yes. I will ask them if they want to pay to have it returned. If they tell me to keep it then great.
