As far as I know we will not ever have a wash bay...so I totally understand how the common space would be an attractive area to was a motorcycle....but come on...its not for that and will be looking like a shithouse in no time. The carpets needed a clean...with all the construction traffic Im sure they pulled alot of dirt from them. They hit my door twice....Im wondering just how much we paid for these guys?

The wash bay is wherever the hose reaches.  A hose and reel was my first priority on council ;)

As for the carpet cleaning - make sure your council is aware of the damage and they can deal with the cleaners.

A motorcycle must enter that common area thru a man gate...this area was never meant for vehicles. Also that hose is for maintenance purposes and not intended to be used to wash motorcycles. This common patio area is a nice place for residents to spend time in...not for people to wash vehicles.

The damage to the walls will have to be investigated further and yea the strata will be notified asap.

At the Bayview our concierge inspects the hallways right before a move in and right after a move in....not sure if same procedure at Promontory?

Strata can be notified through Proline....best to have it in writing with pictures rather than speaking to concierge

Concierge does do his rounds for all sorts of things...no worries there and giving him a heads up on things so he can make certain reports is the way I would rather go. Also the motorcycle washing situation I think can be handled in house without Proline...its a simple problem that should never have happened...if it turns out to evolve into a problem I will contact strata. Our concierge is helpful and Im sure will take care of it :)

More Marketing Prep - But For What?

So are these pictures for a launch of Tower 3 or for more sales material for a land sale?  I think the former.

As an aside, Bosa just a few months ago announced the pre-sales of the RiverSky condo tower in New Westminster.  I just received an email today that they're shutting down the sales office on May 19th.  Over 215 units have been sold and there are only a few left.  They'll be announcing Tower 2 next month.  Well, Promontory is down to 5 units left but they've been selling them since 2011, and the sales office is STILL here.  Such an amazing difference between the two markets.

Aren't there are only two units left now? All townhomes are also spoken for.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bosa picks up tower 3.

Five is from elevator chit-chat with the sales manager.  Maybe 3 units have offers but aren't considered SOLD?

Okay so they have now closed the on-site sales centre.  It's by appointment only for the four remaining units.

They also changed all the large signage to black and white (mostly white space) that says "Bayview Place" and the web address "www.bayviewplace.com".  Why not just take the big signs down entirely - unless?  It's almost like they're keeping them as placeholders.  Interestingly, some of the new sign panel sections included Bosa information but were then removed within a day.  Curious.

Some friends of mine are having a house warming party in a few weeks. I was hoping this was them bringing in the start of the refreshments. :D

What was wrong with the glass?

I'm gonna guess the new glass has better thermal characteristics than plain ol' glass.  ie. it keeps the heat out better during sunny days so that air conditioner can shut off occasionally.
