Sometimes I wonder the story behind this kind of thing. 

 

I guess in addition to just finances, there could be illness or death, move, family break-up etc.   

 

Even some logs not placed for the deck supports.

At first glance this seems wildly overpriced, it may be waterfront but it is in Sooke and on a cliff, What am I missing?

The appeals of listening to someone improvising on an out-of-tune yaybahar 24/7 might not be as great as you think.

 

But having Mike K. as a neighbour would definitely drive up your insurance rates. His bocce aim is notoriously bad.

I recall first seeing that Campion Road home come up for sale at least 6 or 7 years ago. 

It's been for sale constantly since then.

 

It's a beautiful home, and a stunning view - but one can't help noting that it looks like it will all, over time, eventually wind up down at the waters edge.

One would guess that any buyer paying $12 million for a home on the edge of one of the highest, steepest dirt cliffs in the CRD would get some sort of land engineering survey done first.
