Dudes, just a hint. Pay a bit for more for your jeans. Might have some pay off. Just saying! :)

I remember buying cheap jeans when Save on Foods opened that big store in Saanich Plaza in the 80s.  Jimmy Pattison had his hands in everything back then.

That must have been awkward. Did you politely ask him to step aside before you entered the changing room?

back then we all had 28 and 30 inch waists. so he could buy in bulk just those sizes. now it would be harder with the range required.

Um, no... back then I'm pretty sure I had only one waist, same as now.

If you want to start an argument I can crack out the old photo albums.

when you work a physical job you need jeans that will stand up to the job not so much for a fashion statement

If you are a man over the age of 55 the official jeans for men are medium-blue wash, sitting very low on the waist, huge baggy ass and four-inch folded up hem so they clear your white sneakers. Acceptable accessories include a genuine-leather belt from Canadian Tire and a holster for your pay-as-you-go flip phone.

Depends on if you are single or not... :)

Those “Western Star” jeans are every bit as good as my $150 Duer jeans, which I had to return due to poor workmanship and materials. They replaced them of course, but still pulling apart.

Reports of explosion or collapse at uptown Walmart. Possible bakery or Parkade.

A vehicle/truck rammed the lower level of Walmart and trapped several workers inside a freezer. Lots of info coming out, hard to know what’s legit.

Know it all.

Hillside Walmart is open.  Can someone go and finally, officially, confirm it's not an IKEA?

If people are actually buying things and removing them from the premises then I'd file this as a textbook example of how dangerous Mike K.'s rumours can be. It never should have gone this far.

I wonder if this store has the new proximity scanner checkout where you just leave and the money comes out of your phone.

Anyone experience this yet in other places?

The mystery is ongoing then.  Could it be a movie theatre?   Or a Safeway?

A friend of mine checked out the new Walmart today. He was underwhelmed.
